WHAT WE DO

Nissi Homes is a Christian Charity that provides supported accommodation for vulnerable adults who under normal circumstances, may be unable to find accommodation because of their crime, drug, alcohol and mental health histories. Our clients are referred to us by several agencies such as the HM Prisons, Probation Service, CRCs, Local Councils, NHS, GPs and substance misuse rehabilitation agencies. An initial risk assessment is carried out when a client is referred to our services, then a multidisciplinary team assess the risk and individual situation of the client before deciding a suitable accommodation for the client. On average 99.5% of clients who come to Nissi Homes are accepted as we have a non-judgmental approach and believe that with God anybody can change.
Following the risk-assessment, a support worker is assigned to the client, and a care plan is done for the client tailored around their individual needs. The plan is discussed with the client and agreed and signed for. A re-assessment is also scheduled periodically after the initial assessment to ascertain the progress, relapses, or changes to be implemented for better quality support.
Although Nissi Homes does not officially provide a 24 hour support, staff available Monday to Friday 9am to 10pm and available on call 24 hours to provide the care and support detailed below. Our schemes are equipped with CCTV cameras and there is 24 hour monitoring of the schemes.
Nissi Homes staff are all Christians and aim to demonstrate the love of God by loving our clients without discriminating or judging them.
All our accommodation are fully furnished and service users have no need to bring any items other than their personal belongings.
